Recycling

People have recycled forever! And it is easier now than it has ever been. Does the recycle man come to your house? Do you fill up a blue can with recycle stuff every week? If so then you already are recycling!

Here is a list of stuff you can recycle:

Glass

Aluminum Cans

Plastic bottles and containers

Computer paper

Junk mail

Cardboard boxes

Every time you send something to recycle it does three things. First it gets collected. Then it gets remade into new stuff. Then that new stuff gets resold at a profit!

Recycling helps the earth and makes people money!

Aluminum cans are melted down and turned back into aluminum cans. Glass bottles usually become glass bottles. Paper becomes more paper.

Look at all those aluminum cans ready to recycle!

A steel car body can become a new car or it can become a steel bridge. Plastic soda bottles can become new bottles or hard plastic toys, carpeting or even clothing, like a T-shirt.

You can also turn dead plants in your yard into good soil. If you put them in a pile in your backyard and let it sit there for a long time it will become soil to plant new stuff. Now you’re recycling!
